How to cancel a booking, what you get back and how long a refund takes.
Plans change, and we try to make cancelling as simple as booking. The exact rules for your trip depend on the supplier - the airline, hotel, bus operator or tour provider - and they are always shown on the booking page before you pay, as well as on your confirmation email. This page explains how the process works and what to expect.
Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Please quote your booking reference so we can act straight away.
Call our toll free line on 9405520000 or email info@QuickGoa.com with your booking reference, the lead traveller's name and the travel date. A cancellation is only effective once we confirm it back to you in writing - please do not treat an unanswered email or a voicemail as a cancellation.
Time matters. Airline, bus and tour fares are cancelled against the supplier's clock, not ours, so contacting us as early as possible usually means a larger refund.
Flight cancellation rules are set by the airline and by the specific fare you booked. Fully flexible fares are usually refundable; promotional and low-cost fares are often non-refundable, in which case only unused government taxes can be returned. The airline's own penalty is deducted from any refund, and the applicable rules are displayed on the fare before you pay.
Where a booking falls under a 24-hour free-cancellation window offered by the airline, we will process it at no service fee if you contact us inside that window.
Most hotel rooms we sell are free to cancel up to the deadline the property sets - commonly 24 to 72 hours before check-in. That exact date and time is shown on the room before you book and repeated on your voucher. Cancel before it and you are refunded in full; cancel after it, or fail to arrive, and the property may charge one night or the full stay.
Rooms sold as non-refundable or advance-purchase cannot be cancelled or refunded at any point. These are always labelled as such at the time of booking.
Bus operators apply a sliding scale based on how far ahead you cancel. As a general guide, cancelling more than 24 hours before departure attracts a smaller charge than cancelling on the day, and tickets cancelled after the bus has departed - or unused - are not refundable. The operator's exact scale is shown at checkout.
Most experiences can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the start time. Inside 24 hours, and for no-shows, the tour is usually charged in full. Timed-entry attraction tickets and small-group or private tours may be non-refundable from the moment they are issued; this is stated on the experience before you book.
If an operator cancels because of weather or minimum-numbers, you are offered an alternative date or a full refund.
A package is made up of several separate services, each with its own rules. When you cancel a package we cancel every component and refund whatever each supplier releases. Because flights and non-refundable hotel nights are usually the largest part of the cost, package refunds are typically partial. Deposits paid to secure a package are non-refundable unless stated otherwise in your itinerary.
Where we charge our own service or booking fee, it is shown separately at checkout and is not refundable once the booking is confirmed, because the service has already been delivered. Supplier penalties are entirely separate from this and are set by the supplier.
Once a supplier approves a refund we release it to your original payment method. Cards typically show the credit within 7 to 14 working days, though some airline refunds take longer to clear their own settlement cycle. We cannot refund to a different card or account than the one used to pay, and we cannot speed up your bank's posting time.
Refunds are made in the currency of the original transaction. Any difference caused by exchange-rate movement between payment and refund is set by your bank, not by us.
Changing a date or a name is often cheaper than cancelling and rebooking. Call us before you cancel and we will tell you what the supplier will allow and what it will cost.
If an airline, hotel or operator cancels your service, you are entitled to a full refund of that component or a rebooking at no extra charge, whichever you prefer. We will contact you as soon as we are notified and handle the claim with the supplier on your behalf.
Where the supplier's own conditions differ from this page, the supplier's conditions - as shown to you at the time of booking and on your confirmation - are the ones that apply. This page describes how we handle the process; it does not override the fare or rate rules you accepted.
